Medicine Horse Ranch is located on Thornton Ranch, a thousand acre, fifth generation family owned and operated working cattle and sheep ranch in Tomales, California. The land is surrounded by the famed beauty of Coastal Northern California. The unspoiled beauty of this part of the country is accented by abundant wildlife including coyotes, bobcats, deer, hawks, owls and eagles.

Accomodations: The Spirit of the Horse Bed and Breakfast @ Medicine Horse Ranch: We have three guest rooms with a private entrance available in the main house consisting of one master bedroom with full bed and private bath with full shower. Two additional cozy bedrooms share a full bath in the main hall. Included are the use of the common kitchen area and the living room. Enjoy a hot tub under a canopy of stars. Breakfast provided. Stalls in the main barn are available for horse lodging.

EQWINE Adventure Rides: See California’s beautiful and dramatic coastline, including cliffs, breakers and surrounding forests. Ascend over 1,000 feet to reach summits you might not otherwise see (unless you’re an avid hiker). Bring your camera for this ride . . . views abound!
