Redefining
Our Limiting Beliefs—Women,
Horses & Leadership
This extraordinary two-day intensive is designed
for business owners, managers, mothers, mentors, teachers,
caretakers and all women who want to make a difference.
Women often find themselves in leadership positions.
There are times when we resist accepting that role—because
we don’t think we’re prepared, we don’t
think we have the skill, we’re afraid of failing, or
we’re uncomfortable putting ourselves forward.
Working with coaches and horses brings together
real world acumen with the emotional intelligence necessary
to achieve our leadership potential. We can learn to be aligned
with our highest self, and our greatest good.
Alyssa Aubrey, an expert horsewoman, is committed
to bringing horses and women together to discover relevant,
effective and satisfying ways of leading both themselves and
others. Cynthia Riggs’ expertise in business, somatic
coaching and leadership training offers new insights and practices,
while the horses are non-judgmental and offer a safe, supportive
and restorative environment for exploration.
Horses live in energy and energy is what
they respond to. They have no hidden agenda. They are not
impressed by the kind of car we drive, neighborhood we live
in, money we earn or our education or business acumen. They
don’t play politics, won’t be bribed and can’t
be intimidated. Horses understand the intentions behind our
words, reading masterfully what is not being spoken. They
provide us with a dramatic picture of how effective (or not)
our leadership skills and practices are.

This class far exceeded
my expectations in so many ways- the setting was outstanding,
the collaboration was perfect, the exercises (written)
were right on and working with the horses was icing
on the cake.
Cynthia and Alyssa took me on an adventure that provided
a major personal and professional breakthrough. I
am forever grateful to you both.

I was able to realize something
about myself that I have kept buried for 25 + years.
Not only did it come to the surface but also I am
willing to deal with working through the issues.

The combination of using
animal behavior and feedback in the transformational
processes was truly amazing. The insight that I have
gained from the workshop was direct, personal and
straight from the heart of the horse to mine. A big
