Family Programs (incudes Teens)

In a world that has become increasingly complicated, crowded, noisy and technologically based, it is easy to become distracted and disconnected from what has true heart and meaning. We forget that life has both a rhythm and a calling.

Working with horses offers a unique opportunity to reconnect with ourselves, our families, and the world around us by slowing down. When we allow ourselves to be on ‘horse time’ we can hear our inner wisdom.

The horse mirrors our limiting beliefs, ineffective patterns of behavior and old stories. Horses give us the gift of immediate and authentic feedback and offer the opportunity to practice and embody new skills that serve our higher self and our greatest good.

HORSE SENSE FOR TEENS™ ( ages 13- 17, limited to 6 participants in the class)

An 8 week Equine Guided Education Program for at risk youth
Classes meet every other Saturday from 11:00 AM - 1PM. $90.00 per session.

This program is designed to help teens:

• Increase communication skills ( verbal and non verbal)
• Develop integrity and trust
• Practice problem solving abilities
• Understand relationships and family roles/teambuilding
• Develop Accountability
• Manage Anger and Frustration
• Explore Leadership

MOTHER /DAUGHTER (TEEN) GROUP (Full day workshop) Limited to 6 families. The adolescent years often pose challenges for mother-daughter relationships. This class offers support and insight as well as an opportunity to reconnect with each other and improve communication. Horses provide a metaphor for the relationship and the way mothers and daughters respond to each other and to life. $195.00 per family.
