Like many of us, I've loved horses all my life. As a little girl I drew pictures of their images constantly. I collected hundreds of toy horses that accumulated in my room. I galloped around my backyard by day and through my dreams at night, pretending first, to ride and, then, to be a horse. As a grown woman, I continue to learn from and be inspired by my horse Sage—one of the greatest teachers in my life.

HORSE SENSE™ – a one-day introduction to Equine Guided Education

Equine Guided Education offers a unique exploration into new and unlimited possibilities with ourselves and the world around us. Encouraged by the horses innate wisdom and energetic feedback we may be called to listen deeply to our spirit’s longing. Horse Sense is a powerful way to explore 2010’s options and opportunities for growth, learning and leadership. No horse experience is required. All activities with the horses are facilitated on the ground in a safe and supportive environment.

The cost is $125.00 for the class, please bring brown bag lunch


THE SPIRIT OF THE HORSE™ 3-day workshop (men and women all ages) In many Native American cultures horses carried the shamans to the Great Spirit and brought back the “medicine” for the people. In this way “ medicine” refers to our unique gifts, personal power, strengths and understanding that improves our connectedness to all life. As we walk our path of life with awareness of the medicine we carry for our lives, we live in a way that brings healing to all our relations, animals, the Great Mother Earth and ourselves.

$795.00 per person, includes lunch, art supplies and horseback ride.

HORSE SENSE FOR YOUNG WOMEN™ a 2- day workshop for young women 16-24 who are looking to make decisions about their life and find their place in the world. Equine Guided activities focus on learning to leverage unique talents and gifts. Horses are great training partners in teaching young women about self-care, assertiveness, having strong boundaries and power in creating a meaningful future. $395.00.00 per person, includes lunch both days.

HORSE SENSE FOR WOMEN™ is a 6-month series designed to incorporate practical, life enriching skills with the magical thinking, powerful metaphors and synchronistic moments born from the horse’s natural wisdom.

Horses encourage recognizing and developing our natural gifts and talents, trusting in the spirits calling and our natural desire to contribute ourselves from this place.

The women who attend this program come from all walks and way stations of life; some are in transition, others are quite settled in themselves intent on embarking on something new, challenging and fun! Horse lovers and horse owners are compelled to deepen their understanding and relationship with one of nature’s most brilliant animals.

Participants are often bright and creative women who want to feel more confident and contributing in a world that has become increasingly more complicated to navigate.

Horse Sense for Women™ is a wonderful opportunity for participants to discover and design relevant life practices while fulfilling dreams and goals by relying on newfound
confidence, emotional intelligence, intuitive knowing and community. Being on land, in nature and around horses quiets the mind, restores the spirit and offers a way to rediscover, reconnect and reclaim the heart and soul.

No riding experience is required. Activities with the horses are facilitated on the ground in a supportive experiential learning environment.

Program meets two consecutive days on the first and last class, and once a month on Saturday for the remaining sessions.
Includes lunch each day.
