HORSE
SENSE FOR CEU’S
Join us at the beautiful Medicine Horse Ranch
in Tomales, CA for a fun, restorative day of hands-on learning
in the great outdoors. Learn about innovative therapeutic
approaches and get your professional training on a 1000-acre
ranch with human
and equine teachers. The class is open to any healing arts
practitioners with CEU credits available to LMFT’s and
LCSW’s.
This one-day workshop will educate participants
on the basics of Equine Guided Education (EGE) and introduce
them to the universal principals inherent in horse-human therapeutics.
The horse’s instinctual and intuitive capacities and
their social nature help create a safe, supportive setting
in which clients can experience themselves as authentic, empowered
and relational
beings.
With the horses guiding the process, clients
are led to connect with their own inner world and see how
their thoughts, self-limiting beliefs and emotional patterns
cause distress and dysfunction in their lives. Then the horse-human
relationship offers clients a venue for embodying the changes
they wish to make in their lives. The day includes participating
in basic EGE activities and exploring the potential for application
of these activities and principles with a wide variety of
client populations.
“What an
amazing day! My EGE experience was profound. The horses
are gifted and inspiring teachers, the metaphors were
clear and they offered instant and non-judgmental
feedback. This opened my heart, relaxed my body and
quieted my mind. I want my clients to experience this
as well."
